The Museum is proud to be able to present the history of Edgewood and surrounding area in a manner that elicits this kind of response. It is gratifying and humbling to hear this kind of praise from the majority of our visitors.
An indication that we are on the right track is that the average visit to the Museum is somewhat over an hour! There is a lot packed into only 1100 square feet!
In order to maintain this quality, we need to grow our collection and present new exhibits to give patrons a reason to visit again and again. We expect that income from memberships and daily fees will be sufficient to pay the bills, but we need monetary gifts, large and small, to allow us to expand our programming and better serve the community.
If you value the preservation and presentation of Edgewood history, heritage and culture, we urge you to remember the Edgewood Museum as you consider your charitable donations each year, and that you consider a bequest as you do estate planning.
The Edgewood Museum is recognized as a public charity under IRC Section 501(c)(3), and as such, all contributions are fully tax-deductible within the limits of the law.
Please contact the Museum for any additional information on charitable giving.
