Woodland Echoes
Copies of the Woodland Echoes, a monthly newspaper produced by students at Edgewood High School, Edgewood, Iowa, beginning with Volume 1, No. 1. A gift from Dorothy Anthes to the Edgewood Museum, the originals were saved by her mother, Fay Sherman Elliot, during her high school years from 1926 to 1929. Mrs. Elliot was also a staff member of the newspaper for a time during those years.
Three additional editions from 1930 came to us from the Wooldridge family, courtesy of Rita Mills.
